Emily + Nicholas | Modern Courthouse Wedding | The Ambassador Hotel, Milwaukee
Emily + Nicholas celebrated their love in a way that was perfectly them. They had a beautiful + intimate ceremony is a library-esque room at the Milwaukee Courthouse, with their closest family, and son. I will never forget how beautiful Emily looked in the cavernous hallway of the courthouse in her dusty rose dress, her and Nicholas had picked out together. She looked more elegant and modern than I could have imagine, and Nicholas with their son George looking sharp as ever. There was excitement and anticipation waiting for our assigned room to open up. The ceremony was emotional and brief, but included George getting a ring of his own. (He seriously was beaming with pride!)
After, guests made their way the the Art Deco Ambassador Hotel. With a Modern yet 20s feel the hotel made for a space that hugged Emily, Nicholas + their guests.
(Quick story: When Emily inquired with me to say I was thrilled is an understatement. She noted she stumbled upon my site on a facebook group and saved it for the day when she would be ready to hire a wedding photographer. Hearing this made my heart burst with joy! And hearing her story with Nicholas was even better! We met at Collectivo for coffee where they explained how they both noticed each other separately on different occasions BY CHANCE! Of course there is more, ask if you see them! I immediately fell in love with these two. Both with incredibly gentile and kind hearts, and a deep love for each other and George. After our meeting they were going to pick out Emily’s dress on a day date to Chicago! LOVE IT!)
