Of course you have questions when making such an important decision!

1- You are based in Milwaukee, but have photos in other places you photograph as well. Do you travel for your clients?

ABSOLUTELY! I loooove to travel anywhere in the world – I am always itching to explore new places. Each wedding/event is unique so I would be happy to work with you to have the perfect experience, no matter the location! I have been lucky to photograph families and couples in, Milwaukee, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, DC, Southern California and more! (additional travel rates may apply)

2- What can I expect from you as my photographer?

Before: I want to know you, and your vision for your special day! Having been a bride myself (8/30/14!) I know how stressful it can be to plan the perfect day! This aspect of your day should be stress free. We would meet to discuss you and what your vision is for the flow of your day, and continue to be in touch about any new ideas you may have.

During: You should absolutely expect a smooth sailing day, of joy and excitement! Prior to day of we will have made a list of photos you definitely want, to ensure we don’t forget anything in all of the excitement

After: You can expect your delight inducing photos (for a wedding) to be ready about 8-10 weeks after, and for smaller shoots (family/engagement) you can expect your photos 4-6 weeks after.

All of your photos will be shared with you via your own online gallery, so that you can send them to friends and family for free (also backed up for 10 years)!

In the end I am here to support you in capturing exactly what you want for your special occasion – and to make that process before-during-after as seamless as possible.

3 -Ready to book! How do I hold our date + pay?

Yay! I am so excited that you want to move forward and work together on such an amazing day! To “hold” your date I ask for a signed contract and a 50% retainer of your full package cost (the other 50% is due the week before your wedding). You can do all of this digitally.

4 -What is your approach to our wedding day?

I take a combined documentary/photojournalistic approach with some posing help! My goal is to photograph your day, so that when you receive your gallery you feel like you are walking right back through every small and big moment, emotion, tear, laugh, and calm quiet. I am there to support you and be a part of your day that is as stress free as possible. You should feel like your photos capture the raw emotion of your day and represent who you are. I am there to photograph, help, support, offer input when asked, and celebrate your love!

5 -Are you comfortable taking photos inside with limited light?

I absolutely love photographing in natural light as much as possible. That being said, I am 100% comfortable photographing a whole wedding day inside - windows, no windows, hot pink walls, high/low ceilings - game on!
