Victoria + Jason: Boulder, Colorado Engagement

The spark all happened on day when Victoria needed a van to move furniture (after moving half way across the country to Boulder), and Jason just so happened to have one :) These two are both such amazing people to spend time around. They have a lively little puppy, June, who they take on rock climbing and hiking adventures with them regularly.

I was so spoiled getting to spend the whole weekend with these two! They took me from mountain tops, to the farmer market, their wedding venue, and event the place where Jason proposed!

We were on Pearl Street enjoying the live music, street performers, and just spending time together in general, when we stumbled upon a poet! She wrote a poem for Victoria and Jason on the spot! (see end of post for this one of a kind literary work!)

Don't they just glow?! That is what you get living at the high altitude, and being super active! (I on the other hand was panting haha)

Getting up to this amazing look out was treacherous, but totally worth it! I can't believe Jason will bike up and down this mountain...on his lunch break!

We got to go spend some time frolicking at the farmers market, where Victoria and Jason made some difficult decisions together, like which strudel to buy (blueberry).

Oh my goodness! Victoria and Jason's Boulder Creek wedding venue is so perfect for them, Right on a creek, with greenery and the pulse life everywhere.

Victoria was giddy showing us where Jason proposed to her on a Thanksgiving morning hike! He told her to turn around and take in the stunning view, when she turned back there he was on one knee with a Tiffany's box in his hand! Of course we reenacted it with just as much joy and excitement as the first time! (and June got to join us too!)

A Poem About Marriage

I have so much joy in my heart

I feel it grows every moment im with you

The very start of

Every single day

To night when dreams take us away

I feel that being next to you is so great

It's almost surreal

I absolutely adore you too

I deeply, deeply love and cant wait to marry you

It is so great

It is so full of love, and absolutely no hate

There is so much joy I see

When I'm on belay and you have got me

I know your a person I can trust

And it's so amazing

With you I feel so just

I am so glad we made that day two,

When you had a van and said,

"Can you move it?"

"Absolutely! Can do."

And then everything just got so great,

It became from moving to the perfect date and,

Here we are,

It's as if we wished upon the most amazing star,

Because, we have each other

And thats when we say,

I love you deeply,

every day.

Thank you Victoria and Jason for spending the weekend showing me your beautiful city and love for one another! I CANNOT even wait to be back in September for your wedding!!
